Mural City Web Design LLC ("we," "our," or "us") built the Werkly app as a freemium service. This app is designed to help solo contractors and individuals track job information, including client details, project notes, time entries, photos, and invoices.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and visit our website. By using Werkly, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: Email address and password for authentication
• Job Information: Company names, job descriptions, project details, notes, and time entries
• Client Information: Client names, contact information, and related details
• Photos: Images you upload related to your jobs or projects
• Invoice Data: Invoice details, line items, and amounts (note: we do not process payments or collect payment information)
• Feedback: Comments, suggestions, and other information you choose to submit through in-app feedback prompts

All job-related data you enter (client info, notes, photos, etc.) is only collected if you choose to provide it. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to you.

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, device identifiers, and mobile network information
• Usage Data: App features used, time spent in the app, interaction patterns, and session replays (recordings of your in-app activity)

• Purpose: Manages premium subscriptions and in-app purchase functionality

Data Storage and Security

Where Your Data is Stored

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. Photos you upload are stored in Supabase's cloud storage infrastructure.

Security Measures

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

• Row Level Security to isolate your data from other users
• Regular security updates and monitoring

No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly via email and take immediate steps to mitigate the impact.

Your Privacy Rights

• Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information through the app
• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data directly in the app
• Export: Request an export of your data in a portable format

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data at any time from within the app. You can also delete individual jobs and their data directly in the app.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active Werkly account. Your data remains accessible to you indefinitely unless you:

• Manually delete specific jobs or data within the app
• Delete your account in the app
• Request that we delete specific information

Upon account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes. Copies of some information may also remain for a limited time in the systems of the third-party providers we use to run Werkly (for example, analytics events in PostHog or error reports in Sentry), subject to those providers' retention policies — contact us at info@muralcitywebdesign.com if you would like help requesting deletion there as well.

Photo Privacy

Photos you upload to Werkly are:

• Stored securely on Supabase servers
• Only accessible to your account (not visible to other users)
• Possibly inclusive of EXIF metadata (such as location or device information) added by your camera when the photo was taken
• Not analyzed, scanned, or used for any purpose other than displaying them to you in the app

You can delete photos at any time through the app interface.

Children's Privacy

Werkly is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@muralcitywebdesign.com so we can take appropriate action.

Geographic Scope

Werkly is designed and intended for users in the United States. If you access the app from outside the United States, please be aware that your information is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located.

Werkly may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Business Transfers
